What NULCA certification is

NULCA, the trade association

NULCA is the national trade association for the locating industry; the certification exam is the employer-recognized credential for working locators in the United States.

Earning the credential signals to an employer that the locator has been examined against the canonical domains of the trade — not just one firm's internal checklist or one municipality's utility mix.
