Already have the 811 / private demarcation framing from Foundations 01? Foundations 02 picks up where that lesson leaves off — taking the surface vocabulary and the on-site walk a private locator runs as the next step before any geophysics starts. Take Foundations 01 first if the demarcation framing is still new to you.
Foundations 02 chains directly into Foundations 03 — the equipment vocabulary — and then into Foundations 04 — the signal theory. Take the surface pre-sweep from Foundations 02, the equipment-selection rules of thumb from Foundations 03, then the on-site frequency pass and depth triangulation from Foundations 04, and you have the full entry-level sequence before the advanced track opens up.
Foundations 04 — Signal theory & frequency basics — is the prerequisite for Foundations 05: F05 reads against the per-conductor frequency log and the depth estimate F04 has just produced — the running PPOD-to-PPOD measurement ties, the per-segment ASCE 38 quality level, and the photo mark numbers reference the frequency-decisions log F04 has just produced. Take F04 first if you have not yet authored a per-conductor frequency log against a written pre-field hypothesis; F05 sits on top of the frequency log and depth triangulation F04 has just established.
